Katie Wechsler is an associate in the Washington, D.C. law firm of Barnett Sivon & Natter, P.C. She specializes in representing financial institutions before the U.S. Congress and federal regulatory agencies.

Ms. Wechsler previously served as counsel and associate director of government affairs for The Financial Services Roundtable's Housing Policy Council. In that role, Ms. Wechsler researched, analyzed, and drafted testimonies, regulatory comment letters, and policy papers on housing and mortgage issues, regulations, and legislation.

Ms. Wechsler received her undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University and her law degree from The George Washington University Law School. She is admitted to practice in Virginia and in the District of Columbia.

Katie also serves as counsel in the international law firm of Squire Patton Boggs.
